Kirk Guenther

Kirk Guenther has over three decades of diverse experience in the sports and retail sectors. Currently serving as a Skate Repair/Sharpener for MonkeySports, Inc. since January 2016, Kirk has also been a freelance writer for The Puck Stops Here since October 2007. Previous roles include a volunteer position at Open Books from 2009 to 2011, participation in the Future Nordstrom Leaders program as a Men's Shoe Sales associate at Nordstrom from 2007 to 2008, and extensive management experience as a Manager/Buyer at Cleveland Sport Goods from 1990 to 2007. Additionally, Kirk was the Varsity Head Coach of Hockey for the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District from 1996 to 2006. Educational credentials include a degree from Kent State University earned between 1991 and 1995 and a College Prep background from Cleveland Heights High School from 1987 to 1990.
