Melissa Darou

Melissa Darou, MA, is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications, engagement planning, and media relations. Currently serving as Communications Advisor for the Village of Lytton and Senior Communications Associate at Monogram Communications, Inc., Melissa collaborates with diverse clients, including local governments and non-profit organizations, on various communication strategies. As a Communications & Engagement Specialist at WCS Engagement + Planning, Melissa leads projects for multiple clients, while also running Melissa Darou Communications & Creative and Pemberdise, a brand and apparel company. Previous roles include Project Lead at Royal Roads University and Senior Communications Officer for the Resort Municipality of Whistler. Melissa holds a Master of Arts in Environmental Education and Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communication, both from Royal Roads University.
