Vaishnavi Murthy Yerkadithaya

Vaishnavi Murthy Yerkadithaya is a highly experienced design professional with a focus on typeface and graphic design. Currently serving as the Creative Type Director at Monotype since September 2023, Vaishnavi has also worked as an Independent Design Consultant and Freelance Graphic Designer since June 2017. Previous roles include Dive Master at Temple Adventures and Design Lead at Moonraft Innovation Labs Pvt. Ltd., where expertise in UI, UX, and branding was demonstrated. Vaishnavi's design career began at Idiom, Bangalore, with significant contributions to diverse projects, including branding for various corporates and involvement in the Tulu script revival. Educational background includes a Graduate Diploma in Visual Communication from the National Institute of Design and ongoing MA studies in Typeface Design at the University of Reading.
