Nicholas Hemwall

High School Social Studies Teacher at Monroe County Intermediate School District

Nicholas Hemwall is a dedicated educator currently serving as a High School Social Studies Teacher at Monroe County Intermediate School District since August 2023. With experience spanning various educational roles, Nicholas has been an Upward Bound Summer Instructor at Monroe County Community College since June 2019 and has held positions as a High School Social Studies Teacher and Long Term Substitute Teacher at Jefferson Public Schools from August 2018 to August 2023. Prior to this, Nicholas worked as a Student Teacher at Toledo Public Schools and as a Substitute Teacher at Jefferson Public Schools. Nicholas's foundational experience includes serving as a Resident Advisor at The University of Toledo and leadership roles at Frenchtown Parks and Recreation. Nicholas earned a Master of Education from The University of Toledo and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the same institution, alongside additional education from the University of Phoenix.
