Gary McLeane

Principal 1 Project Controls Engineer at Monsanto

Gary McLeane has extensive experience in project controls engineering. Gary worked at Monsanto Company from 2008 to present, initially as a Senior Project Controls Engineer and later as a Principal 1 Project Controls Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for estimating, scheduling, and forecasting crop protection and mining projects ranging from $50MM to $1B. Their duties included working with engineering personnel to produce funding grade estimates, tracking schedules and bid packages, and verifying quantities for contractor payments. Gary also managed project costs, developed estimates and forecasts, and presented cost reports to project teams. Additionally, they provided early indication of potential cost deviations and recommended corrective actions. Prior to their time at Monsanto, Gary worked at BIS Frucon Industrial Services from 2004 to 2008 as a Cost Engineering Process Owner. Gary also had a brief stint at Fru-Con Construction in 2004 as a Project Controls Manager and later as an Area Manager, overseeing various construction projects.

Gary McLeane attended Rosary High School in Spanish Lake, MO from 1968 to 1971. After completing high school, they went on to enroll at David Ranken Technical Institute in St. Louis, MO. From 1971 to 1973, they pursued an Associate's degree in Architecture, focusing on Architecture and Structural Technology. Additionally, during the same period, Gary also attended Ranken Technical Institute, where they obtained an Associate degree in Architectural studies.
