A former Partner and Head of Lease Advisory at Cushman & Wakefield, and Director at Balnave Advisory, Peter is recognised as one of the UK’s leading advisers in rent review and arbitration.

With a strong track record in both in-town and out-of-town retail, he is viewed by foodstore investors as Scotland’s principal advisor on supermarket rent reviews.

In addition, Peter has worked with many major office and industrial occupiers, in particular some of Scotland’s top legal firms, in creating and implementing their occupational strategies.

Peter is an active supporter of the RICS. He has been a regular speaker at rent review and arbitration conferences in both London and Scotland, and a joint author of many RICS Practice/Professional Statements and Guidance Notes. He has also acted as Arbitrator or Independent Expert in many rent review disputes.
