Samadrita Bhattacharyya, PhD

Samadrita Bhattacharyya, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of health and medical research. Samadrita is currently employed at Montai Health as a Functional Lead since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Faze Medicines as a Scientist from March 2021 to April 2022. Furthermore, they have also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UT Southwestern Medical Center from October 2019 to March 2021. Samadrita Bhattacharyya, PhD, completed their education in a variety of institutions and fields of study. Samadrita started their academic journey at Auxilium Convent School, where they completed their Class 10 degree in General Studies from 1994 to 2007. Samadrita then attended Bhavan's Gangabux Kanoria Vidyamandir, where they pursued higher secondary education in Science from 2007 to 2009.

After completing their secondary education, Samadrita Bhattacharyya enrolled at St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata, where they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biotechnology from 2009 to 2014. During this time, they also had the opportunity to participate in summer research programs at the University of Minnesota in 2012 and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2013, focusing on Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology.

Continuing their academic journey, Samadrita Bhattacharyya pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Genetics, Development, and Disease at UT Southwestern Medical Center from 2016 to 2019.
