Mitch Lassa is an experienced conservation professional with a background in program management and environmental education. Currently serving as Program Manager for Individual Placement Programs at Montana Conservation Corps since November 2019, Mitch previously held the position of Program Coordinator in the same organization and at One Montana, where assistance was provided in program development and partner communications. Mitch's commitment to conservation is evident from roles including Big Sky Watershed Corps Member, focusing on watershed health and community outreach, and Historic Preservation Crew Member, dedicated to environmental and historic preservation efforts. Additional experience includes serving as a Hydrologist/Intern with the USGS New York Water Science Center and conducting undergraduate research at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where a Bachelor of Science in Geology was earned.
