Lance Elroy

Director, Process Improvement And Operations Systems at Montana-Dakota Utilities Co.

Lance Elroy has a diverse work experience in various capacities within the utilities industry. Starting in 1997, they worked at Intermountain Gas Company, initially as a District Manager and later as a Staff Operations Program Manager. In 2007, they became the GIS Manager for Intermountain Gas and Cascade Natural Gas, where they led enterprise-wide GIS initiatives. In 2012, they briefly served as the Manager of Marketing and Industrial Services, responsible for corporate marketing plans and industrial market segment strategies. From 2013 to 2015, Lance worked as the Director of Professional Services at RAMTeCH Corporation, overseeing the development and delivery of GIS/IT projects for utility and other industries. Finally, since 2015, Lance Elroy has been the Director of Operations Services at Intermountain Gas Company, providing corporate direction and support for field operations. In 2018, they joined Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. as the Director of Process Improvement and Operations Systems.

Lance Elroy attended the College of Idaho from 1990 to 1992, where they obtained a BA in Business with a focus on CIS and Marketing. Lance later pursued further education at Idaho State University College of Business from 2000 to 2004, earning an MBA with a specialization in Business Administration and Management. In addition to their degrees, Lance Elroy obtained a certification in "Driving Digital Transformation" from IMD Business School in November 2019.
