Anna East is an experienced educator and consultant with a focus on Indigenous education and language. Serving as the Tribal Relations and Education Fellow at Montana Digital Academy since 2010, Anna East collaborates with Indigenous language experts to create online courses and supports reservation schools. Additionally, Anna East has held roles as an adjunct professor at Dawson Community College, founder of Spark Teaching Group, and grants manager at the Arlee School District, where grant management and funding oversight were key responsibilities. With a strong background in teaching English and history at Arlee High School, Anna East has also contributed as a literacy coach and held various positions at national education organizations and agencies. Anna East holds a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Montana, along with a Master of Arts in English Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature.
