Aislinn Brown

Aislinn Brown currently serves as the Chief Legal Counsel at the Montana Office of Public Instruction since May 2025 and has held various leadership roles at the State Bar of Montana since September 2019, including President Elect, Board Chair, and Board Trustee. Prior experience includes positions at the Montana Department of Justice from January 2017 to May 2025, where Aislinn was Bureau Chief, Deputy Bureau Chief, and Assistant Attorney General. Aislinn also served as President of the First Judicial District Bar Association from November 2017 to August 2019 and worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Montana Supreme Court from February 2015 to January 2017. Aislinn's legal career began as a Pro Bono Attorney at the Office of the Attorney General of the District of Columbia in 2014. Aislinn holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French from Gonzaga University, with additional studies at the Institut catholique de Paris and ongoing education at the Center for Transnational Legal Studies.
