Adam L. Carpenter

Adam L. Carpenter, MBA, MSIS, is a seasoned data professional currently serving as the Chief Data Officer for the State of Montana since June 2021. Previously, Adam held the position of Manager - Insights & Data at Sogeti from February 2020 to June 2021, and worked at Pier 1 Imports in various roles including Machine Learning Engineer and Data Scientist from October 2014 to January 2020. Earlier in Adam's career, experience as an IT Security Analyst/Business Analyst was gained at XTO Energy from September 2012 to May 2014. Adam's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Information Systems focused on machine learning and advanced analytics, a Master of Business Administration specializing in systems design and business management, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems, all obtained from The University of Texas at Arlington.
