David Sunday Abiodun is a dedicated mining engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Akure. Currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Montana Tech since January 2022, David focuses on rock fragmentation, surface mine design, and environmental management. David’s experience includes a mining engineer internship at Kinross Gold Corporation, a role as a Mine Safety and Health Engineer at Steinbruch International, and quarry mining engineering at OFL Marble and Granite Limited. Early career experiences include supporting heavy machinery maintenance at JAAK Dredging Company Nigeria Limited and conducting research on conventional drilling and blasting methods for Dangote Cement and Rice.
