William Tahaney, Ph.D., is an accomplished scientist currently serving as Scientist II in Discovery Biology at Monte Rosa Therapeutics since May 2022, after previously holding the position of Scientist I. Tahaney's expertise includes extensive molecular biology experience, particularly in tissue culture, cloning, and pathway interrogation, demonstrated through significant work at MD Anderson Cancer Center as a Postdoctoral Fellow and at Baylor College of Medicine as a Doctoral Researcher, where research focused on targeting molecular vulnerabilities in p53-mutant triple-negative breast cancer. Additionally, Tahaney has experience as a Research Associate at NeuMoDx Molecular, optimizing PCR reagents, and has conducted undergraduate research and an internship that contributed to understanding diseases at the molecular level.
