Sara Gobets

Sara Gobets is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in journalism, education, and conservation. Currently serving as a Naturalist at Natural Habitat Adventures and a Program Leader at Offbeat Travel since May 2022, Sara also works as a Photojournalist for the Monterey Herald and San Francisco Chronicle, showcasing skills in visual storytelling. As a Conservationist with Fundemar and a Journalism lecturer at California State University, Monterey Bay, Sara combines expertise in education and environmental advocacy. Additionally, involvement in Gobets Photography as founder and photographer highlights Sara's entrepreneurial spirit. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Photojournalism and Anthropology from San Francisco State University, complemented by diverse teaching certifications.
