Michelle Overmeyer

Michelle Overmeyer serves as the Director of Planning & Innovation at Monterey-Salinas Transit, where responsibilities include managing a professional team overseeing a $79 million grant portfolio within the agency's 5-year capital investment program and strengthening relationships with community partners and elected officials. Previously, Michelle worked as a Grants Analyst, successfully authoring grant proposals that secured $40 million in funds, including a $10 million capital grant for a new operations and maintenance facility. Earlier experience includes the role of Associate Environmental Analyst at Sacramento County Dept of Environmental Review and Assessment, where Michelle managed technical analyses for compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies and Planning from Sonoma State University.
