Dr. Brenda Williams

Dr. Brenda Williams is a seasoned professional in higher education and human resources with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Special Assistant to the VP/CIO at Montgomery College since July 2006, Dr. Williams has held key leadership roles including Director of Employment Services focusing on workforce development for refugees and asylees, and Director of Employee Relations, Diversity & Inclusion. In addition to administrative roles, Dr. Williams contributes to academia as an adjunct faculty member at multiple institutions, including Indiana Tech, Morgan State University, Towson University, and the University of Maryland University College, where courses range from qualitative research to diversity in education. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Disability Support Services at Montgomery College and Disability Program Manager for Montgomery County. Dr. Williams holds an EdD in Higher Education Administration, an MA in Rehabilitation Counselor Education, and a BS in Speech Pathology & Audiology, all from prestigious universities.
