Our staff provides a wide range of services to citizens, including law enforcement, parks and recreation, social services, libraries, animal care and adoption, and water and waste services. We also provide support to fellow employees through accounting, fleet management, human resources, and information technology. Montgomery County, located in southwestern Virginia, is home for more than 99,000 residents in its nearly 400 square miles.
