Tyra Young

Tyra Young has extensive work experience in the real estate industry. Tyra started their career in 2003 as an Area Property Manager at Realty & Mortgage & Co. After that, they worked as a Multi Site Property Manager at Metroplex, Inc from 2006 to 2009. Tyra then joined Mercy Housing as a Senior Property Manager from 2009 to 2012. Tyra worked as a Property Manager at Volunteers of America of Illinois/Hope Manor II Apartments from 2013 to 2016. From 2013 to 2022, they worked as a Real Estate Broker at US Realty, Inc, where they assisted clients in buying and selling properties. Currently, Tyra holds the position of Facilities Director at Montgomery Place Chicago since 2017.

Tyra Young attended Lewis University from 1989 to 1991, where they studied Business Management and Urban Development. Tyra did not obtain a degree during their time at the university. In addition to their education, Tyra Young also holds two additional certifications. In October 2006, they earned a Tax Credit Specialist certification from the National Center for Housing Management. In August 2005, Tyra Young became a certified Realtor® / Broker through the Chicago Association of Realtors (a member of NAR and RWSSC).
