Jared McLaughlin has a diverse work experience in engineering and water management. Jared started their career at Aquaveo as a Programmer/Modeler from January 2005 until May 2008. Jared then moved on to Franson Civil Engineers, where they served as a Staff Engineer for five years, from May 2008 to January 2013. At Franson Civil Engineers, Jared was responsible for designing and building water projects, managing projects, and acquiring new work. Jared'smost recent position is at the Montgomery Water Works & Sanitary Sewer Board, where they started in January 2013. Initially, they worked as a Professional Engineer, focusing on development reviews and maintenance projects in Montgomery, AL. Jared'sresponsibilities primarily involved sewer rehabilitation projects including pipe bursting, CIPP, and open cut replacing. Jared eventually advanced to the position of Chief Engineer, which they currently hold.

Jared McLaughlin completed their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Brigham Young University, where they attended from 2002 to 2006. Jared later pursued a Master's degree in Civil Engineering at the same university from 2007 to 2008.
