Maurice Shalam is a seasoned investment professional currently serving as Managing Partner at Avex Capital Partners, where the focus is on early-stage ventures across pre-seed, seed, and Series A investment stages. Shalam also holds dual roles as a Consultant and Venture Associate at Triangle Capital Group, LLC, investing in early-stage ventures within the crypto space and general technology sectors. As an angel investor, Shalam supports various startups, including beehiiv, Montra, Hypercard, and HoneyQuote, with a successful exit from Wine Connoisseur yielding twofold returns.
