Ben Hamel

Ben Hamel is a seasoned financial professional with over two decades of experience in the derivatives and trading sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of F&O and OTC Clearing for Bank of America Merrill Lynch since December 2003, Ben also holds key positions on several committees, including the Derivatives Advisory Committee for the Autorité des marchés financiers in Québec and the TMX Regulatory User Group at the Montréal Exchange. With previous roles as Vice President at Fimat and as a trader at both Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and Burns Fry, Ben has developed extensive expertise in trading and regulatory matters. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Management from Université de Montréal.
