Jan Hofstede

Jan Hofstede has over 30 years of experience in the watch industry. Jan started their career at Egana Group in 1988, where they served as the Department Head for After Sales Service until 1995. Jan then joined ETA SA Manufacture Horlogère Suisse as a Technical Manager from 1996 to 1997.

In 1998, Jan Hofstede joined Rolex Hong Kong Ltd as a Technical Manager and held that position until 2011. Jan then moved to Richemont Hong Kong, where they served as a Technical Manager from 2011 to 2016.

In 2016, Jan Hofstede became the Owner of the watch butler, specializing in luxury watch and clock repair, antique watch and clock repair, and various other services. Jan also worked as a Technical and Operations Director at Montrichard Group from 2022 to 2023.

Jan Hofstede briefly worked as a Technical Manager at Lidl Hong Kong Limited from April to October 2016 before transitioning to the role of Merchandise Manager from October 2016 to October 2021.

Jan also worked as a Manufacturing Manager at Greenland Watch Ltd from October 2021 to January 2022.

Currently, Jan Hofstede holds the position of Director of Quality at Montrichard Group since June 2023. Jan'sextensive experience in the watch industry and their expertise in various technical roles make him a valuable asset to any organization.

Jan Hofstede completed a diploma in watch making from Horlogemakers Vakschool Cornelis Verhaegen from 1983 to 1987. Earlier, from 1978 to 1982, they obtained a diploma from mavo rehoboth sneek, studying in the field of General commercial school.
