Katrice Fuller-Whitaker has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Katrice began their career in 2006 as an Office Automation Clerk at the US Environmental Protection Agency, where they supported the Assistant Administrator in various administrative tasks. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a File Clerk/Legal Support in the Public Safety Criminal Division of the DC Office of the Attorney General, handling case preparation and filing.

In 2012, Katrice joined Alternative Paths Training School as a File and Records Clerk, responsible for maintaining student files and coordinating communication between school staff, parents/guardians, and state agencies. Katrice then worked as a Dedicated Aide at the Foundation School, providing support to children with Emotional Disturbances and Mood Disorders.

From 2014 to 2015, they served as a Resident Advisor at the Cheltenham Youth Facility under the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services, overseeing the behavioral and physical management of male youths. Katrice later joined Sheppard Pratt Health System as an Educational Assistant, assisting children with autism spectrum disorders in their learning and implementing behavior management strategies.

In 2016, Katrice joined Monument Academy Public Charter School as a School Facilities Safety Specialist, ensuring the safety and security of the premises and conducting safety drills. Katrice then transitioned to the role of Director of Family Engagement & Community Schools Coordinator, where they built and maintained partnerships with community organizations, managed enrollment audits, and served as the Homelessness Liaison.

Starting in 2019, they took on roles at PAVE (Parents Amplifying Voices in Education), including Community Change Fellow and Ward 6 Parent Leaders in Education Board Representative.

Throughout their career, Katrice has demonstrated a commitment to education, safety, and community engagement.

Katrice Fuller-Whitaker has earned a Master's degree in Social Sciences & Diversity in Education from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2021.
