Simon Coles

Simon Coles is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel at Monument since July 2021. Prior to this, Simon held the position of General Counsel at Growth Street, where a key achievement included overseeing the orderly closure of the business and ensuring full redemption for platform investors amidst the challenges posed by the global pandemic. Simon's extensive background includes roles as General Counsel at Capital On Tap and MarketInvoice, as well as positions as Partner at Fieldfisher and TLT LLP. Further legal experience was gained as a Managing Associate at Simmons & Simmons and through a client secondment at the Royal Bank of Scotland Group. Simon holds a Master's Degree in Law from the University of Cambridge and has additional educational credentials from Birkbeck, University of London, and Nottingham Law School.
