Tim Prowell

Tim Prowell is an experienced chemical engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Since March 2008, Tim has served as the Process Safety Manager at Monument Chemical, leading and facilitating Process Hazard Analyses and Layer of Protection Analysis, managing process risk, and overseeing mechanical integrity programs. Previously, Tim held various roles at Monument Chemical, including Project Engineer and Engineering Manager, focusing on capital projects, maintenance engineering, and instrumentation controls. Tim's experience spans roles at Dow Chemical, where as a Run Plant Engineer, oversight of multiple production processes was conducted, and at RWD Technologies, where technical training for refinery and chemical plant operators was developed. Additionally, Tim worked as a Production Engineer at Oxychem, focusing on production processes for vinyl chloride monomer and chlorine/caustic units.
