Steven Maser has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Steven started their career as a Hand Surgeon in 1995. Steven later became the Vice President and Medical Director of Monument Health Orthopedic & Specialty Hospital, where they provided medical leadership for various service lines and maintained a hand surgery practice. Steven also served as the Interim VPMA and Vice President of Medical Affairs at Monument Health, where they were responsible for leading and engaging the medical staff, promoting collaboration, and supporting credentialing and privileging. Additionally, Steven was the Medical Director of Orthopedic Surgery at Atlantic Health System, where they oversaw the coordination and quality management of orthopedic services across the organization. Steven has also held leadership roles in various medical societies and associations, including the South Dakota State Orthopaedic Society, American Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Association for Physician Leadership, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Morristown Medical Center, Morristown Medical Center Medical Staff, and Morris County Medical Society.
Steven Maser received a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Thomas Jefferson University from 1983 to 1987, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Penn State University from 1982 to 1985. Steven completed their secondary education at Lower Moreland High School from 1978 to 1982. In addition, Steven Maser has obtained certifications such as being board certified in General Orthopaedic Surgery and Surgery of the Hand by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in December 1995, and being a Certified Physician Executive by the CERTIFYING COMMISSION IN MEDICAL MANAGEMENT INC.
