Kate Burns

Kate Burns is the current VP of Business Operations & General Counsel at MOO. Prior to their current role, Kate was the General Counsel and Company Secretary of notonthehighstreet.com from June 2016 to March 2021. Kate was also previously employed at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP from March 2011 to May 2016, where they served as the Chief of Staff (Head of Central Team Projects).

Kate has extensive experience in legal affairs, risk management, corporate communications, and business transformation. At notonthehighstreet.com, they were responsible for leading the company through its Series E funding and subsequent sale. At Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, Kate advised the Management Team on a variety of strategic initiatives and projects, including the firm’s work on improving gender diversity.

Kate is a highly skilled and experienced lawyer, with a proven track record in delivering results in complex and challenging environments. Kate is a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Kate Burns has a Master of Arts from the University of Cambridge and has also completed Harvard Law School Executive Education's Leadership in law firms program.
