Bas Rathje

Bas Rathje has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Bas has held various roles at Mood Media, where they worked for over 20 years. Their most recent role at the company is the VP of IT Operations Global, where they are responsible for creating and managing relationships with technology providers, defining and implementing processes, policies, and KPIs for IT operations and support, and leading and coaching IT teams globally. Prior to this, they were the Director of International IT at Mood Media, where they managed IT teams and infrastructure in international locations and collaborated with the Global Product Development division. Before joining Mood Media, Bas Rathje worked as an IT Manager at the Benelux division of Mood Media, managing IT departments and overseeing software development, IT architecture, operations, and support. Bas Rathje also has previous experience as a European Development Specialist at ALCAS and as the Chairman and Floor Manager at Stichting Lan-gaming Drome, where they organized large-scale LAN networking and PC gaming events. Additionally, they have worked as the Director/Owner/Business Associate at Perfect Play V.O.F. and as the Owner at Apollo IT. Bas also had a role as a Software Architect at Eurovision Oldenzaal.

Bas Rathje attended HBO Hogeschool Enschede starting in 1998, studying Informatica. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1998, they attended MBO Hofstede MTS, focusing on Technische Informatica. Their education began at Twents Carmel College from 1990 to 1995, where they completed their VWO degree.
