Vladimir Bakalov has a diverse work experience, spanning over 17 years. Vladimir started their career as a Technical Support for Ancient Media in 2003, providing email and phone support to customers and solving technical issues. In 2007, they worked as a Web Developer at SiteGround for a brief period before transitioning to freelance full-stack web development work in 2008.

In 2009, Bakalov joined Imperia Online as a Web Developer, participating in the development of the web browser-based game Imperial Hero. Vladimir then moved on to Firefly Studios, where they worked as a Web Developer, developing and maintaining websites and services for small- and medium-scale customers.

In 2011, Bakalov joined GOOS ApS as a Project Manager and iOS/Web Developer. Vladimir managed projects, led development teams, and was involved in all aspects of development, from testing to deployment. During this time, they also launched and expanded the company's outsourcing capabilities and optimized operations.

From 2016 to 2018, Bakalov worked at Too Good To Go as an iOS Developer. Vladimir took over the Objective-C iOS app, adding features and improving stability and responsiveness. Vladimir also contributed to backend development and played a key role in architecting and developing the current Too Good To Go app using Swift, MVVM-Router, and Realm.

In 2018, Bakalov joined Moodagent as the Lead iOS Developer, where they currently work.

Vladimir Bakalov holds an MSc degree in Digital Media Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, which they completed from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from New Bulgarian University, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Before entering university, Vladimir studied Civil Engineering at Universitet po Arhitektura, Stroitelstvo i Geodezia from 2001 to 2003. Vladimir completed their secondary education in Mathematics at the Natural Sciences and Mathematics High School "Acad. B. Petkanchin" in Haskovo from 1996 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, Vladimir also obtained certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from ScrumAlliance in 2013. Furthermore, they acquired proficiency in the Danish language through their studies at Københavns Sprogcenter, which started in 2011 and will continue until 2023.
