Barbara van Dongen

Senior Customer Support at Moodle

Barbara van Dongen has a strong work experience in customer support and education. Barbara worked at Moodle from 2022, starting as a Customer Support and later promoted to a Senior Customer Support role in April 2023. Prior to this, Barbara worked at Edith Cowan College from 2008 to 2022 as a Pathway Educator and Unit Coordinator. In this role, they coordinated and delivered teaching and training both online and face to face, while fostering a respectful and inclusive learning environment.

Barbara van Dongen pursued their education chronologically, starting with a BA degree in Psychology and English from the University of Johannesburg in 1993. Following this, they completed a program in Cobol Programming at Van Zyl & Pritchard in 1997. Later, in 2011, they studied at Trainwest to obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Finally, in 2014, Barbara completed a Graduate Diploma in Education at Curtin University, majoring in Education.
