Moody Bible Institute
Laurie Norris is an accomplished academic currently serving as the Dean of Faculty and Professor of Bible at Moody Bible Institute since September 2011, and as a Professor of Bible at Moody Theological Seminary since May 2021. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate Professor of Pastoral Studies at Moody Bible Institute and a Pastoral Research Assistant at Harvest Bible Chapel from 2011 to 2018. Laurie also contributed to Wheaton College as a Guest Instructor in Biblical and Theological Studies and engaged in doctoral studies and teaching assistance during a PhD candidacy at Wheaton College from 2005 to 2011. Earlier experience includes working as Assistant Director of Institutional Research at Dallas Theological Seminary and serving as a Spiritual Formation Fellow at the Center for Christian Leadership, Dallas Theological Seminary. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Biblical Theology-New Testament Studies from Wheaton College, a ThM in New Testament Studies and Systematic Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a BA in Bible (Comprehensive) and Communication Arts from Cedarville University.
