Isabel Lee

Isabel Lee has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Isabel is currently working at Moon Creative Lab as an Engineering Manager, starting in July 2023. Prior to this, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Moon Creative Lab from January 2022 to July 2023. Before joining Moon Creative Lab, they worked at Pathrise as a Principal, Software Engineering from April 2019 to February 2021. At Pathrise, Isabel led the development and maintenance of a job search and fellow management platform. Isabel also developed various features and implemented improvements that resulted in improved user satisfaction and engineering efficiency.

Isabel's previous experience includes working at Everlane as an Engineer, where they focused on React user experience improvements and built features based on user feedback. Isabel also worked on improving the efficiency of the merchandising team's workflow and enhancing the point of sales system. At Seneca Systems, Isabel worked as a Software Engineer and built real-time call progress and click-to-call features. Isabel also refined and enhanced different parts of the application to improve user experience and code quality.

Isabel started their career at AlphaSights as a Software Engineer, where they refactored existing feature flag and user permissions implementation and built a labels manager component. Isabel thoroughly tested all code using RSpec and Nightwatch. Before transitioning into the tech industry, Isabel worked as a Customer Service Associate at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Isabel also gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Mavenlink, where they programmed an opt-in impersonation tool and assisted the Support Team with debugging issues.

Isabel's early internships include working as an Operations and Engineering Intern at Caviar, Inc., where they supported the Engineering Team with website improvements and the Operations Team with customer calls. Isabel also worked as an Office Assistant Intern at ROI·DNA, where they provided general administrative support and maintained the office appearance. Overall, Isabel has a strong background in software engineering and a proven ability to contribute effectively in different roles and projects.

Isabel Lee earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2012 to 2016.
