Alexei J. Cohen

Alexei J. Cohen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education, marketing, and travel writing. Currently serving as a Professor of English and History-Geography at the Institut Saint-Dominique de Rome, Alexei inspires middle and high school students while developing engaging lesson plans. As Country Manager for Journey Beyond Travel, Alexei designs bespoke itineraries across Italy and fosters relationships with local suppliers. A travel writer and editor for Moon Travel Guides since 2008, Alexei has contributed to multiple travel publications focusing on Italy. Previous roles include Sales and Marketing Specialist at FAO, Marketing and Internal Communications at Teleconsys SpA, and Web Content Manager at Sapienza University of Rome. Alexei holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing and History from Carnegie Mellon University.
