Junior IT Support Specialist (m/f/d):

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Junior IT Support Specialist to join our dedicated team. This role is ideal for someone looking to expand their knowledge and skills in IT. You will play a key role within the IT Team, assisting in daily operations by providing support and training to our colleagues. We are looking for a customer-focused team member who will work across all teams and locations at Moonfare.

You will:

  • Provide first-line support to end-users for hardware, software and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Mac OS, iOS, Apple software and peripheral devices.
  • Maintain and update the IT Helpdesk ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and documentation of all incidents and requests.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff to review and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, system backups and hardware diagnostics.
  • Provide remote and on-site support as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to users’ workflow.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and solutions in the knowledge base for future reference and training purposes.
  • Stay current with the latest technology trends, software updates and troubleshooting techniques, particularly related to Apple products.

The next Moonfarian:

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in an IT helpdesk role.
  • Previous experience with remote desktop support tools and IT service management (ITSM) software.
  • Initial experience troubleshooting Apple Mac systems, including macOS.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office, basic network troubleshooting and general IT support practices.
  • Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) solutions and basic networking concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with a customer-focused approach to support. 
    • German language skills are a plus.
