Lerato Mabitsela is an experienced professional in the film and production industry, currently serving as a Post Production Coordinator at Newzroom Afrika since January 2021. With a diverse background, Lerato has held multiple roles including Camera Assistant and Production Assistant at Hydrorhythm Entertainment Studios, Lock Off PA at Big Picture Productions, and Central Loader at Moonlighting Film Production Services. Additional experience includes 2nd Camera Assistant at Film Afrika and various positions at Endemol Shine Africa and Black Brain Pictures. Lerato completed education at Tshwane University of Technology from 2013 to 2016.

Moonlighting was established in 1989 by founder Philip Key and is today recognised to be one of Southern Africa’s foremost production companies. The company comprises Moonlighting Films, Moonlighting Commercials, MoonSport, Grinder Films (tabletop production and studio) and is a partner in Casta Diva South Africa. Working from the Head Office in Cape Town, Moonlighting operates throughout Southern Africa with particular experience in Kenya, Tanzania, Namibia, Mozambique, Nigeria, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Ghana among others.
