Andrea Wöger

Andrea W. is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in applied mathematics and scientific computing, serving as an Honorary Lecturer at Imperial College London since December 2020 and as a Chancellor's Fellow at The University of Edinburgh since February 2019. Andrea has held multiple roles at The University of Edinburgh, including Senior Research Fellow and Visiting Researcher, and previously worked as a Senior Research and Data Scientist at Imperial College London. Key projects include developing stochastic modeling frameworks for analyzing cell dynamics and creating computational design tools for synthetic biology. Andrea also has a strong background in computational systems biology and has applied mathematical models to study bacterial growth and skin barrier mechanisms. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics & Scientific Computing and Computational Biology, respectively, from Freie Universität Berlin.
