Lynne Slater

Lynne Slater is an experienced educator specializing in language acquisition and cultural diversity. Currently serving as an English Teacher at Moonshot Academy since August 2023, Lynne has been with Uni-Ed since May 2016, focusing on tailored content lessons for English language learners. Previously, Lynne held notable positions such as Executive Director at HAWK Center, International Programs Office Manager, and Adjunct Instructor of Spanish and ESL at the University of the Ozarks, and Diversity Director at Heifer International. Lynne's academic background includes two Master's degrees from Arkansas Tech University in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language and Spanish with an emphasis in TESOL and Latin American culture, as well as a B.S. from Silver Lake College in Cultural Diversity and Labor Relations.
