Kyrstyn Ransom

Kyrstyn Ransom is an experienced professional in special needs support and animal care, currently serving as the Special Needs Coordinator at Dolphin Research Center since September 2017. In addition, Kyrstyn has held multiple roles since 2016 as a Family Managed Employee at The Moore Center and Gateways Community Services, and as a Direct Support Professional at Community Bridges, specifically working with children diagnosed with autism to create and implement behavior plans and educational strategies. Prior experience includes an internship at Dolphin Research Center focusing on animal care and training, as well as a long tenure at Smugglers' Notch Resort as a SNAP Counselor and Head Lifeguard, ensuring safety and support for campers with special needs. Kyrstyn holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Marine Biology, Biology, and Outdoor Recreation from the University of Maine at Machias.
