Paula Hartman (Esq.) has parlayed her interest in the environment and the outdoors into a 30-year career in environmental consulting and law. Although she very nearly became a park ranger, her early technical work with biologists at PG&E led her to pursue a law degree, and she has been helping clients “find answers and solutions” ever since. She values working on projects like infrastructure or public services, which may not get a lot of fanfare, but are critical necessities. Paula finds her passion reflected in projects that build community, connect people to the outdoors, and re-introduce solid ecosystem values. Her work ranges from endangered species and habitat conservation to environmental impact documentation and permitting. Her ability to identify potential long-term consequences and their financial and legal impacts have benefited public, private, and nonprofit organizations and agencies throughout California. Paula utilizes her multidisciplinary education and experience to ensure that projects are legally defensible and environmentally responsible for the benefit of clients and the community alike.
