Michal Ben Aharon

Michal Ben Aharon possesses extensive experience in urban planning and software development. Currently serving as Backend Team Lead at Moovit since March 2016, Michal has held various roles including Backend Java Developer, Server-Side QA, and Data Operations Manager. Prior experience includes working as an Urban Planner at the Central District Planning Department of Israel's Ministry of Finance, where Michal analyzed development plans from September 2012 to March 2016. Additionally, Michal contributed to academic institutions like New York University and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem as a Teaching and Research Assistant. Educational qualifications include an M.A. in Urban Planning from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, alongside partial studies in Computer Science at The Open University of Israel and a B.A. in Business Administration and Geography from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Michal's early career involved data analysis in Israeli Military Intelligence's Unit 8200.
