Seyan Kumaresan

Seyan Kumaresan has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. In 2014, they were a Database/Web Assistant at the University of Toronto - Victoria University. In 2015, they were a Summer Student, MS BI/SQL Server Specialist at RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust and an Application Programmer Analyst at the Ontario Ministry of Education - Community Services, I&IT Cluster. In 2017, they were the Chief Technical Officer & Co-Founder at bgon, where they facilitated development switch from external providers to an in-house team, led the development team through a total app redesign and rebranding, and developed and improved existing PHP backend API and Android application. In 2019, they were a Software Engineer at Vouchr. In 2020, they were a Senior Software Engineer and a Software Engineer at Drop, where they designed and architected large scale systems, lead cross functional initiatives, and participated in numerous hiring initiatives. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Rose Rocket.

Seyan Kumaresan attended the University of Toronto from 2012 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Computer Engineering.
