Hodan Hassan

Hodan Hassan currently serves as the Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Chief Advancement Officer at Morehouse College, beginning in June 2023. Simultaneously, Hodan is a member of Chief, a private network aimed at empowering women executives. Prior to these roles, Hodan was the Assistant Dean for Advancement at Stony Brook University's College of Arts and Sciences, where responsibilities included establishing fundraising priorities for a large academic unit. Previous positions include leadership roles at Save the Children US, U.S. Fund for UNICEF, Arizona State University, University of Washington, and Long Island University, with extensive experience in fundraising strategy, donor management, and program development. Hodan holds multiple degrees in Mathematics and Education from Long Island University.
