Joycelyn Jones

Joycelyn Jones is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in alumni relations, development, and engagement within higher education. Currently serving as the Director of Development for the West Coast Region at Morehouse College since June 2025, Joycelyn collaborates on comprehensive advancement support services and manages the portfolio solicitation process. Prior roles include Director of Alumni Relations and Engagement at The Buckley School, where Joycelyn led alumni programs and fundraising efforts, and Director of Diversity Programs and Service Partnerships at the University of Maryland Alumni Association, focusing on engagement within diverse alumni networks. Joycelyn's career also includes notable positions at the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business, where significant fundraising was achieved, and as a Marketing Consultant for The Roan Group, contributing to arts initiatives. Joycelyn holds a Master of Arts from Howard University, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Wright State University, and a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University.
