Kevin D. Chapman Jr

Kevin D. Chapman Jr, M.Ed. currently serves as the Associate Dean of Student Life and Leadership at Morehouse College, a position held since November 2015, which encompasses roles such as Director of Student Leadership and Talent Development. Kevin's experience includes training First-Year Experience Instructors to manage community-engaged projects and overseeing the implementation of the Bonner and Adams Scholars Programs to promote student leadership development. Prior to Morehouse College, Kevin worked as a Senior Educational Program Specialist at Georgia State University, focusing on support for first-generation and at-risk students. Kevin's extensive background also includes significant experience in the U.S. Army as a Human Resources Noncommissioned Officer, where leadership capabilities were demonstrated in both overseas and stateside assignments. Kevin holds a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Morehouse College.
