Andrea Perez Calijan is a paralegal supporting Morgan Brown & Joy’s attorneys in a wide range of employment matters. Andrea handles a wide range of document drafting and review, subpoenas and filings, records requests and research, as well as sophisticated trial preparation. Providing critical client assistance, Andrea is highly communicative so that clients clearly understand all of their case-related information and documentation.

Andrea’s legal experience is extensive. Prior to joining the firm, she was a paralegal in a Boston boutique immigration law firm handling asylum and immigration matters. Before relocating to Boston, Andrea served as a pro bono law clerk with a law firm and as an interpreter and translator for lawyers through a humanitarian nonprofit handling immigration matters in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Although not a lawyer in the United States, Andrea is licensed to practice law in Guatemala. Her experience as a lawyer includes working as an associate in a Central American law firm, litigating and advising on labor and employment matters, as well as in connection with family law and civil litigation.

Andrea is fluent in Spanish, her native language. She is also fluent in English and proficient in German.
