Monica Rhymes

Monica Rhymes, DNP, currently serves as the National Director of Advanced Practice Providers at Walmart Health & Wellness since July 2023, while also maintaining a role as Senior Manager II in Leadership and Development at Walmart since January 2017. Rhymes has extensive experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner across several healthcare settings, including positions at Summerhill Nursing Home, Morgan Memorial Hospital, Middle Georgia Primary Care, Heart of Georgia Hospice, and Perry Hospital, starting from October 2012. Earlier career experience includes a Family Nurse Practitioner role with Loyal Source Government Services in 2016 and a Registered Nurse position in the Surgical Trauma ICU at Navicent Health from January 2007 to May 2012. Education includes a Doctorate in Nursing Practice and multiple degrees in nursing and health sciences from Georgia Southern University and Grand Canyon University.
