Pooja Verma-Thapar

Pooja Verma-Thapar serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Strategic Programs at Morgan Stanley, having joined the firm in October 2018. Previous experience includes a decade at Barclays Investment Bank, where Pooja held multiple leadership roles, including Business Manager/COO for the Data Office and Head of Project Management Office, leading initiatives such as the CCAR Stress Testing and E2E portfolio financial reporting for Project Octon. Pooja's earlier positions encompass roles in software development and project management across various areas, including Fixed Income and regulatory compliance. Pooja's educational background features a Master's degree in Computer Science from New York University and another Master's degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Southern California, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
