Steve Balistreri

Steve Balistreri is a nationally recognized leader whose expertise is working with entrepreneurs, founders, and executive leadership teams of companies in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) industry. Steve is known as a serial builder of communities and networks for the advancement of entrepreneurs and their entrepreneurial endeavors.

Steve works with TMT companies, their entrepreneurs and executives, venture and private equity investors, and the supporting community to grow the next generation of disruptive technology companies. With over 30 years of professional consulting and accounting experience, he has advised companies ranging from pre-revenue start-ups to companies with more than $1 billion in revenue.

Steve routinely coaches CEO’s and CFO’s in all matters related to obtaining excellence from themselves and their teams. He has extensive experience advising entrepreneurs and CEO’s in corporate growth strategies and all matters of operational development. Steve also has extensive transactional experience including venture capital and private equity fundraisers, buy and sell side M&A, and initial public offerings.

Prior to joining MorganFranklin Consulting, Steve served as managing director at Deloitte. He led Deloitte’s Greater Washington Emerging Growth Company Practice (EGC) and served as industry leader for their technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) industry practice in Greater Washington.

Steve is the treasurer and on the executive committee of Mindshare Inc., a not-for-profit organization that provides a one-year CEO training program to first time CEOs of technology companies. Steve also sits on the Enterprise Advisory Board for George Mason University.

Steve is a graduate of Marquette University and is a certified public accountant licensed in Maryland, and Virginia.
