Jill Walder

Jill Walder, SHRM-SCP, has extensive experience in human resources, with a focus on leadership and strategic alignment. Jill has served as the Director of Human Resources at the Morgridge Institute for Research since 2017, where they provide overall management and vision for HR activities. Prior to this, they held various senior roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific, including Senior Director of Human Resources and Global HR Business Partner. In these positions, Jill was responsible for organizational design, employee engagement, leadership development, and supporting corporate processes. Jill also has experience in recruitment and talent management.

Jill Walder, SHRM-SCP, obtained their Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Psychology, and English Literature from Carroll University, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. In addition to their academic achievements, Jill has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. Jill obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in December 2018. Furthermore, they completed the SHRM U.S. Employment Immigration Specialty certification from SHRM in April 2021 and the Adult Mental Health First Aid certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in October 2021.
